Join us for a fun, relaxed opportunity to serve our community! We'll be handing out cold bottles of water and popsicles to individuals and families at Hope Mills and Arnette Parks. It's a simple way to spread kindness, make connections, and brighten someone's day while serving others together. We'd love to have you join us!
Help us encourage local elementary school teachers as they prepare for a new school year! We'll be assembling thoughtful goodie bags filled with snacks, treats, and practical supplies to help them feel appreciated and supported on their first day back. Join us as we show our gratitude and help make the start of the school year a little brighter for those who invest so much in our community's children.
Adopt-A-Highway Clean-Up Event! National SERVE Day is an amazing opportunity to bless others and be blessed. National SERVE Day provides people & churches across the world with opportunities to serve their local communities and share the love of God through practical acts of kindness. Our hope is that serving others becomes our focus throughout the year. Together we can make a difference!
Help us get the Multipurpose Room ready for Sunday! After Serve Day and lunch, we'll work together to clean and prepare the space so it's welcoming for everyone, especially the new families who will be joining us. Your help, even for a short time, makes a big difference as we create an inviting environment for all God has in store this weekend.
We will have a team at working here at the church to complete our annual deep clean as part of National Serve Day. Together, we will refresh and care for key areas of the church, including the sanctuary, classrooms, and other shared spaces, helping prepare our facility for continued ministry and community use.
We have an excellent opportunity to volunteer with children with special needs on National SERVE Day, as they participate in the featured sport for this season. This season is soccer! Buddy Sports are non-competitive recreational leagues designed for boys and girls with disabilities. Each player is paired with a ‘buddy’ who offers support as needed, creating an inclusive environment where friendships can form, the children can have fun, and get exercise. These leagues give children the chance to learn the basics of soccer and enjoy the teamwork and camaraderie that come with it. It's an incredible opportunity for kids to develop new skills, build confidence, and have fun in a supportive and encouraging setting. We need 15-20 volunteers to assist with this event. Volunteers must be 13 years old or older. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Come be a part of this meaningful experience and make a difference in the lives of these children!
